About Sogapro
Sogapro Engineering Ltd. was formed in 1987 to provide consulting services and training in natural gas gathering and processing, with specialization in sour natural gas. The principal, Ed Wichert, has many years of experience in operations and management in the oil and gas industry. More recently, he has gained expertise in acid gas compression and injection.
Ed Wichert has developed useful engineering correlations for predicting the properties of sour gas and has published numerous articles dealing with sour gas technology. In addition to consulting in this area, he also has developed and is offering several courses in gas technology, and has presented courses in Canada, United States, Abu Dhabi, Colombia, Germany, Qatar and China. He was Adjunct Professor in the Chemical and Petroleum Engineering Department at The University of Calgary. Ed is currently an industry consultant specializing in sour gas matters.
